Settings for Time Capsule

You can use these steps for an AirPort Time Capsule or an AirPort Extreme with an attached USB drive.

1. Open AirPort Utility on your Mac or Windows computer.

2. Select the Time Capsule and click Edit.

3. Open the Disks tab.
4. Turn on Enable file sharing.
5. Choose how to secure the shared disks.

If you secure the share with a device password or disk password, enter Apple as the username when you connect from FE File Explorer.
